Soup Kitchen

Thanks to all of you who are able to help out at the soup kitchen on Wednesday. I could still use a couple of people at 3:30. If you would like to help, please give me a call.

Thanks to the Young Women

I would like to pay homage to young women of our ward. We frequently call on them to provide child care at our various meetings. They come cheerfully and serve well. We rely on them. Please remember to thank them when you see them. We could not get along without them.

Christmas Party

Our Relief Society Christmas party will be held at 7:00 on December 15th. We will be in the primary room as we have been in the past. We will provide the food and drink. Come enjoy a relaxing evening. This is traditionally one of our finest times together. (Child care will be provided for those who need it. Please call Libby, Elizabeth, or Toni to rsvp so we know how many caregivers we need.)
We would invite you to bring items for the "Love Baskets." You may bring whatever you feel you would like to share. Our young men and women will be delivering them the following evening. We are excited this year because the Beehives are going to make homemade tags for the baskets. Thanks, girls!

Cookie Demonstration

Sisters,
On December 1st at 7:00 pm, we will be having a Christmas cookie demonstration and exchange. It will be held at Marcy's house. Please bring cookies...any kind that is a tradition in your family...and the recipe. I'll have to let you know how many to bring.
If you don't have the time, nor the inclination to make cookies for the exchange, come anyway. We always have a great time.

Purpose of this blog

The purpose of this blog is to provide a place where sisters can go to find out what is happening in our ward Relief Society. It is difficult to reach everyone in person. This will be the place, hopefully, for the most up-to-date happenings and announcements. Please check back often and spread the word to others.
